Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1643-1660, June 2026.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Penentuan LD50 Penyakit Infeksi Toxoplasma gondii pada Mencit balb/c [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
LD50 determination in toxoplasma gondii infection in balb/c mice Background: LD50 is a marker of virulence which is reflects degree of microorganism pathogenicity. LD50 of every pathogens to be used should be determined in order to choose an appropiate

Endogenous “Time Bomb” – Mislocalized Phospholipase A2 as a Critical Mediator of Ultra‐Rapid Mortality in Sepsis and Acute Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 32, 9 June 2026.
Phospholipase A2 (PLA2), a dormant enzyme, becomes lethal when activated—collapsing lungs in minutes. Our dual therapy (DOPS + varespladib) boosts survival from 0% to >90% in sepsis/ALI. A breakthrough for acute lung injury treatment. ABSTRACT This study reveals that phospholipase A2 (PLA2), normally stable and nontoxic, can be activated specifically ...

Determination of Suitable Dose of Gamma Ray for Mutation Induction in Pomegranate Buds (Punica Granatum L. cv. Malase Saveh) [PDF]

open access: yesمجله علوم و فنون هسته‌ای, 2014
Pomegranate is cultivated in many regions of Iran. Due to the pomegranate sensitivity to the Carob moth, it is necessary to develop new cultivars that tolerate the Carob moth (Spectrobates ceratoniae). To induce a genetic variation in the plant, breeding

Cryo‐EM Structure Guided Engineering of Botulinum Neurotoxin A With Advanced Receptor Binding Affinity and Therapeutical Benefits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 33, 15 June 2026.
The butterfly unfolded wing in an open form structure of botulinum neurotoxin type A (BoNT/A) at physiological‐state was confirmed at 2.85 Å resolution by cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM). Structure‐guided protein engineering significantly enhanced the receptor‐binding affinity, therapeutic efficacy, and safety of the engineered toxin variants ...

Modeling Supports Combinatorial Effects Between Pharmacological and Non‐Pharmacological Interventions to Prevent Opioid‐Induced Cardiac Arrest

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 119, Issue 6, Page 1466-1475, June 2026.
Few studies have quantified the effects of non‐pharmacological interventions (e.g., rescue breathing) in the setting of community opioid overdose. We extended a previously validated model for opioid antagonists by incorporating the mechanism of rescue breathing, and quantified combinatorial effects between rescue breathing and various formulations of ...
