Characterising Hand Tremor in Adult Kidney Transplant Recipients: Its Impact on Daily Activities and Relationship With Tacrolimus Administration and Exposure

open access: yesNephrology, Volume 31, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim This study aimed to characterise hand tremor and examine its relationship with tacrolimus administration time and systemic exposure in adult kidney transplant recipients early post‐transplantation. Methods Quantitative and qualitative data on hand tremor were collected from patients receiving immediate‐release tacrolimus, approximately 1 ...

Defender or accomplice? Dual roles of plant vesicle trafficking in restricting and enabling geminiviral systemic infection

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 249, Issue 6, Page 2986-3002, March 2026.
Summary The vesicle trafficking system enables multidirectional cargo fluxes between endomembrane compartments. However, vesicle trafficking plays dual roles during pathogen infections. In plants, it mediates autophagic immune responses but can also be hijacked by pathogens to facilitate successful infections.

Low-dose radiation ameliorates PM2.5-induced lung injury through non-canonical TLR1/TLR2-like receptor pathways modulated by Akkermansia muciniphila

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety
Exposure of PM2.5 can cause different degrees of lung injury, which is referred with inflammatory response. Some evidences showed that low-dose radiation (LDR) induces hormesis in immune, however, it is unknown if LDR ameliorates the PM2.5-induced lung ...

The effects of the “living high–training low” model on key proteins involved in cellular aerobic and anaerobic metabolism in male C57BL/6J mice

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, March 2026.
Abstract This study aimed to investigate the effects of the “living high–training low” (LHTL) model, in which mice were housed under hypoxic conditions but trained in normoxia to maintain training quality. We analyzed key proteins involved in cellular metabolism and oxidative stress, including hypoxia‐inducible factor 1α (HIF‐1α), peroxisome ...
