Spin Dynamics in the van der Waals Ferromagnet CrTe2 Engineered by Niobium Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 73, 10 September 2026.
Spin‐dynamic magnetic properties of van der Waals (vdW) ferromagnet 1T‐CrTe2 are tuned via niobium (Nb) as Cr1‐xNbxTe2 (x = 0–0.2). Nb doping enables wide‐band tuning of the resonance frequency from 40 GHz down to the few‐GHz regime, accompanied by a moderate increase in the Gilbert damping from ∼0.066 to ∼0.14.

Origin of Dark Current Robustness in Photomultiplication Organic Photodetectors Enabled by Ionic Conjugated Electron‐Blocking Layers

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 53, 21 September 2026.
Ionic conjugated polyelectrolyte electron‐blocking layers enable photomultiplication organic photodetectors with dark current robustness up to −10 V and external quantum efficiencies exceeding 3000%. Fowler–Nordheim tunneling, interfacial dipole, trap density of states, and noise analyses reveal how ionic conjugated polyelectrolytes suppress electron ...

Synergistic Interface Engineering via Buffer Layer and UVO Treatment for High‐Performance PbS Quantum Dot Near‐Infrared Photodiodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 52, 18 September 2026.
A dual‐interface strategy combining a solvent‐orthogonal Poly‐TPD buffer with UV–ozone tuning of PbS‐EDT reconstructs interfacial energetics and defect chemistry in PbS CQD photodiodes. The optimized interface suppresses shunt‐ and trap‐related leakage, reduces noise, and enables high‐detectivity near‐infrared detection with imaging capability ...

Triplet Acetone Generation by Pseudoperoxidase Activity of Myoglobin: Structural Damage and Quenching

open access: yesLuminescence, Volume 41, Issue 9, September 2026.
Ferrimyoglobin pseudoperoxidase activity was demonstrated during isobutyraldehyde oxidation, yielding electronically excited triplet acetone and inducing structural damage. Sorbates and 9,10‐dibromoanthracene‐2‐sulfonate exhibited protective effects.

ESG Integration and Market Power: A Stochastic Frontier Approach to Loan‐Output Lerner Index and Nonlinear Evidence From GCC Banking Markets

open access: yesBusiness Strategy &Development, Volume 9, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) integration requires substantial investment in human capital, environmental infrastructure, responsible banking practices, and governance and risk management frameworks. These investments may enhance bank credibility, reduce information asymmetry, and improve credit allocation efficiency, thereby ...

Embedding Rule‐Based Augmented Reality Scaffolding in Experiential Learning Cycles: An SEM Study of Student Engagement in Lab‐Based STEM

open access: yesComputer Applications in Engineering Education, Volume 34, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Augmented reality (AR) is increasingly used in STEM laboratories, but its pedagogical value depends on how digital guidance is embedded within structured physical learning activities rather than on technological novelty alone. This study examined an AR‐supported hydropower laboratory activity designed around Kolb's experiential learning cycle ...
