Lead user identification in online user innovation communities: A method based on random forest classification

2017 7th IEEE International Conference on Electronics Information and Emergency Communication (ICEIEC), 2017
This paper aims to identify lead users from an online user innovation community. Based on three dimensions of user characteristics — user activeness, community influence, and user relations, a Random Forest classification model for lead user identification is proposed. Using the data from the MIUI forum of Xiaomi community, this model is tested.

Blind Evaluation

Proceedings of the European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics 2015, 2015
Many efforts on design research focuses on developing methods for design, while little research has been done on how students experience method use. This study looks at the experience of young design students using a specific design method, the empathic lead user method. This method relies on inhibiting certain senses in order to provide designers with

Steady action model and inter-agent communication method to lead the user to an alternative action

TENCON 2009 - 2009 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2009
As the ubiquitous society matures, mobile phones are equipped with agents, which support users in selecting the appropriate course of actions, for example, by giving guidance on where to change trains. However, since human society becomes more and more complex and sophisticated, agents capable of understanding the situation of each user (action plan ...
