Cluster Removal on La Crescent and Leaf Removal on Marquette Grapevines
As part of the Northern Grapes Project, research has evaluated various cultural practices to aid in understanding the performance of cold-hardy grape vines (Vitis vinefera-based hybrids) in cold climates. This multi-state research project has led to increased production of cold-hardy grapevines and consumer acceptance.

Minimum Leaf Removal for Reconciliation: Complexity and Algorithms [PDF]
Reconciliation is a well-known method for studying the evolution of a gene family through speciation, duplication, and loss. Unfortunately, the inferred history strongly depends on the considered gene tree for the gene family, as a few misplaced leaves can lead to a completely different history, possibly with significantly more duplications and losses.

Teak Leaf-Based Activated Carbon for Phosphate Removal
The use of detergent predictably causes large quantities of phosphate ion in water bodies. It is considered to trigger eutrophication, that creates a severe reduction in water quality. Adsorption using activated carbon is one of the effective methods for the removal of phosphate from wastewater.

Two faces of greedy leaf removal procedure on graphs [PDF]
The greedy leaf removal (GLR) procedure on a graph is an iterative removal of any vertex with degree one (leaf) along with its nearest neighbor (root). Its result has two faces: a residual subgraph as a core, and a set of removed roots. While the emergence of cores on uncorrelated random graphs was solved analytically, a theory for roots is ignored ...

Phenolic composition of wine from 'Cabernet Sauvignon' grapes subjected to leaf removal at different timing in Southern Brazil [PDF]
: The objective of this work was to evaluate the phenolic composition of wine from 'Cabernet Sauvignon' (Vitis vinifera) grapes subjected to leaf removal management at different timing, in a high-altitude region.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Effects of Excessive Ear Removal on Senescence Order of Wheat Functional Leaves
We studied the effects of different ear removal treatments on the senescence order of functional leaves and the effects of removal of 3/4 ear on the chlorophyll content, net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomata conductance, malonaldehyde ...
