Thinking from Experience in Psychosocial Practice: Reclaiming and Teaching ‘Use of Self’ [PDF]
A course based on psychosocial theory and students' experiences in practice has been taught in the UK, Norway and Quebec. It departs from the classical social work concept ‘use of self’ and aims to help novices in health and social work to understand how

Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.

Label‐Free SERS Fingerprinting of Neuroprotein Conformational Dynamics in Human Saliva
Galvanic molecular entrapment (GME) is a label‐free method for detecting and quantifying neuroprotein conformational states. This technique enables direct surface binding and in situ hotspot generation around molecules, effectively overcoming challenges related to target localization and mismatched hotspot geometries.

Education, Globalisation and the Role of Comparative Education [PDF]
Comparative education has traditionally meant the study of national education systems. But how far is this approach valid today? Doesn’t the ‘decline’ of the nation state make national systems obsolete?

Ordered three‐dimensional anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) nanoarchitectures with longitudinal and transverse pores enable architecture‐driven metamaterials. The review maps fabrication advances, including hybrid pulse anodization, and shows how 3D‐AAO templates tailor properties across magnetism, energy, catalysis, and sensing.

Digital learning objects: A need for educational leadership [PDF]
Despite increasing interest in technology-assisted education, technology-based instructional design still lacks support from a reliable body of empirical research. This dearth of reliable information hampers its integration into mainstream school systems.

Electrochemical CO2RR is a key technology for converting CO2 into chemicals, but there remains a gap between “laboratory science” and “engineering practice” in current research. This review establishes a multi‐scale research framework, encompassing atomic‐level characterization, microenvironment regulation, external field‐assisted optimization, and AI ...

Rewriting Polymer Fate via Chemomechanical Coupling
This work introduces a life‐like “living” polymer platform that can grow, degrow, and reprogram its properties after fabrication. By integrating mass transport, reversible polymerization, and controlled catalysis, the material achieves on‐demand changes in size, shape, and mechanical properties.
