Reduced-rank Analysis of the Total Least Squares [PDF]
The reduced-rank method exploits the distortion-variance tradeoff to yield superior solutions for classic problems in statistical signal processing such as parameter estimation and filtering. The central idea is to reduce the variance of the solution at the expense of introducing a little distortion.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Corticomuscular activity modeling based on multiple data sets such as electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) signals provides a useful tool for understanding human motor control systems. In this paper, we propose modeling corticomuscular

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Modification of the Conventional Influenza Epidemic Models Using Environmental Parameters in Iran [PDF]
ObjectivesThe association between the spread of infectious diseases and climate parameters has been widely studied in recent decades. In this paper, we formulate, exploit, and compare three variations of the susceptible-infected-recovered (SIR) model ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Robust Total Least Squares Estimation Method for Uncertain Linear Regression Model
In data analysis and modeling, least squares and total least squares are both mathematical optimization techniques. It is noteworthy that both the least squares method and the total least squares method are used to deal with precise and random data ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.
