In vivo lymphocyte activation and apoptosis by lectins of the Diocleinae subtribe
This paper reports the overall effects of three lectins, extracted from Canavalia brasiliensis, Dioclea violacea, and D. grandiflora, on BALB/c mice popliteal draining lymph nodes.

A novel hydrogen bond re‐orientation (HyBRO) strategy enables three‐dimensional (3D) printing of vascular microchannel networks with high accuracy. By switching sacrificial material interactions with nonsolvents, HyBRO prevents swelling and deformation, enabling accurate hierarchical channels spanning a tenfold size range.

Structural and biochemical characterization of a new type of lectin isolated from carp eggs. [PDF]
A previously unidentified glycoprotein present in the eggs of the carp (Cyprinus carpio) was isolated and structurally characterized. The protein binds to a Sepharose 4B matrix and can be eluted with 0.4 M N-acetylglucosamine. The protein has an apparent

Tumor therapy in mice via antigen targeting to a novel, DC-restricted C-type lectin.
The mouse CD8alpha+ DC subset excels at cross-presentation of antigen, which can elicit robust CTL responses. A receptor allowing specific antigen targeting to this subset and its equivalent in humans would therefore be useful for the induction of ...

Xc- System as a Possible Target for ConBr Lectin Interaction in Glioma Cells
Studies have revealed the dependence of glioma cells on iron, making them sensitive to ferroptosis. Ferroptosis can be triggered by inhibition of the xc- system, resulting in redox imbalance and membrane lipid peroxidation.
