Serum Uric Acid as a Sex‐Dependent Risk Marker of Post‐Stroke Epilepsy After Acute Ischemic Stroke: Complementary Mendelian Randomization and Cohort Analyses

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 6, June 2026.
In 21,459 acute ischemic stroke patients, Mendelian randomization found no shared genetic causal link between serum uric acid and epilepsy. Elevated admission uric acid was a robust risk marker for post‐stroke epilepsy in women but not men, with the apparent male protective association sensitive to stratification method.

Integrating Bone‐Brain Axis Modulation and Tea Consumption for Enhancing Neurovascular Resilience and Patient Rehabilitation Education

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
This figure illustrates how tea consumption and exercise metabolites may synergistically support neurovascular protection related to hemorrhagic risk. (A) Pathological mechanisms such as vascular injury, small‐vessel fragility, and impaired cerebral perfusion increase cerebrovascular vulnerability.

Comparative Analysis of Extracellular Vesicle‐Like Particles From Different Processing Gastrodia elata Bl.: Physicochemical Properties, Biosafety, and Neuroprotection Potential as a Functional Food Ingredient

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study systematically characterizes extracellular vesicle‐like particles (EVLPs) from three processed Gastrodia elata forms (dry, wine, and ginger), evaluating their physicochemical properties, metabolite profiles, biocompatibility, and neuroprotective efficacy in an OGD/R model, highlighting their neuroprotective potential as a functional food ...

Standardized Management Pathway to Prevent Acute Rejection After Liver Transplantation Following ICI Therapy for Downstaging HCC

open access: yesHealth Care Science, Volume 5, Issue 3, Page 196-206, June 2026.
Findings indicate that within a standardized clinical pathway integrating structured immunosuppression, therapeutic drug monitoring, and early complication surveillance, liver transplantation after ICI exposure can be performed safely without increased rejection risk.
