Anthrax lethal toxin exerts potent metabolic inhibition of the cardiovascular system
Bacillus anthracis causes anthrax through a combination of bacterial infection and toxemia. As a major virulence factor of B. anthracis, anthrax lethal toxin (LT) is a zinc-dependent metalloproteinase, exerting its cytotoxicity through proteolytic ...

A hyaluronic acid/tannic acid‐engineered Prussian blue oxygen nanogenerator loaded with IR780 is developed to enhance melanoma phototherapy. By integrating tumor targeting, oxygen self‐supply, and dual‐mode glutathione depletion, the nanoplatform effectively overcomes hypoxia and antioxidant defenses, potentiating synergistic photothermal/photodynamic ...

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.

Cancer‐associated NPC remodeling creates a high‐flux, low‐stringency nuclear state that supports malignant adaptation but increases mechanical fragility. Targeting the FG‐barrier or NPC scaffold may drive mechanostat failure, envelope rupture, DNA damage, and loss of nuclear integrity.
