An empirical analysis of the distribution of the duration of overshoots in a stationary gaussian stochastic process [PDF]
This analysis utilizes computer simulation and statistical estimation. Realizations of stationary gaussian stochastic processes with selected autocorrelation functions are computer simulated.

Level-Crossing in the Instanton-Anti-Instanton Valley
We study the level crossing of the fermion system described by the euclidean Dirac Hamiltonian in the valley background. One chiral fermion level is shown to cross twice the zero value in the case of well-separated instanton-anti-instanton background.

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Assessment of the accident rate coefficient at pedestrian railway crossings
The object of the study is pedestrian railway crossings, which are specially designed pedestrian paths across railway tracks intended to ensure the safe passage of pedestrians over railway infrastructure, including areas outside of official level ...

Field-induced level crossings in spin clusters: Thermodynamics and magneto-elastic instability
Quantum spin clusters with dominant antiferromagnetic Heisenberg exchange interactions typically exhibit a sequence of field-induced level crossings in the ground state as function of magnetic field.

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Level-Crossing Characteristics of an Actively Managed Buffer
In this paper, we examine a buffer with active management that rejects packets basing on the buffer occupancy. Specifically, we derive several metrics characterizing how effectively the algorithm can prevent the queue of packets from becoming too long ...

The level crossing and inverse statistics analysis of DAX and oil price time series are given. We determine the average frequency of positive-slope crossings, $\nu_{\alpha}^+$, where $T_{\alpha} =1/\nu_{\alpha}^+ $ is the average waiting time for ...

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.
