Identifying prognostic targets in metastatic prostate cancer beyond AR
Genome‐wide functional screens combined with a large gene expression database and clinical outcomes can identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities in prostate cancer. Eight potentially druggable targets demonstrated strong dependency in cell lines, were associated with worse prognosis clinically, and showed evidence of protein expression in prostate ...

Differential effects of LH-RH immunoneutralization on LH and FSH secretion in the ewe [PDF]
Neutralization of LH-RH by injection of an ovine antiserum to LH-RH in ewes during the late follicular phase of the oestrous cycle resulted in an immediate blockade of pulsatile secretion of LH. Plasma concentrations of FSH gradually rose in the antiserum-treated ewes during the 36-h study period but levels declined in control ewes.

Large Quark Rotations Neutrino Oscillations and Proton Decay [PDF]
The large freedom in the SM fermionic mass matrices allows for large LH and LH quark rotations. This is a natural possibility in view of the observed large leptonic mixing.

Abstract Purpose This study aims to develop a CycleGAN based denoising model to enhance the quality of low‐dose PET (LDPET) images, making them as close as possible to standard‐dose PET (SDPET) images. Methods Using a Philips Vereos PET/CT system, whole‐body PET images of fluorine‐18 fluorodeoxyglucose (18F‐FDG) were acquired from 37 patients to ...

Static polarizability of two-dimensional hole gases
We have calculated the density-density (Lindhard) response function of a homogeneous two-dimensional (2D) hole gas in the static (omega=0) limit. The bulk valence-band structure comprising heavy-hole (HH) and light-hole (LH) states is modeled using ...

Validity and Reliability of Clinical and Patient‐Reported Outcomes in Multisystem Proteinopathy 1
ABSTRACT Objective Valosin‐containing protein (VCP)‐associated multisystem proteinopathy 1 (MSP1) is caused by variants in the VCP gene. MSP1 results in various phenotypes including progressive myopathy, Paget's disease of bone, frontotemporal dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and parkinsonism, among others.

Military Service Roles and ALS Among Veterans: A Matched Case–Control Study
ABSTRACT While military service is an established risk factor for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), it remains unclear whether this association is linked to combat. We conducted a matched case–control study comparing 191 ALS patients who were veterans of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) with known military service type and 1910 matched controls. The
