Large-eddy simulation of a hypersonic turbulent boundary layer over a compression corner
In this paper, large-eddy simulation of the interaction between a shock wave and the hypersonic turbulent boundary layer in a compression corner with a fixed 34° deflection angle at Ma = 6 for different Reynolds number cases is conducted.

Abstract Hepatocellular adenomas (HCAs) are benign liver tumors associated with bleeding or malignant transformation. Data on the indication for surgery are scarce. We analyzed indications and outcome of patients operated for HCAs < 50 mm compared to HCAs ≥ 50 mm. Changes in final postoperative diagnosis were assessed.

Animal models of pulmonary hypertension due to left heart disease
Pulmonary hypertension due to left heart disease (PH‐LHD) is regarded as the most prevalent form of pulmonary hypertension (PH). Indeed, PH is an independent risk factor and predicts adverse prognosis for patients with left heart disease (LHD ...

Background Left ventricular overload is frequent under veno‐arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, which is associated with a worsening of the prognosis of these patients. Several left heart decompression (LHD) techniques exist.
