Identification of genes differentially expressed in Jining Grey and Liaoning Cashmere goats ovaries [PDF]
To search for genes controlling high prolificacy of Chinese indigenous goats, differential display reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (DDRT-PCR) was used to screen differentially expressed cDNA bands in the sexually matured ovaries of 3-year-

This study was designed to identify the relationship of four genes (GDF9, BMPR-IB, FecB and ESR) polymorphisms in the 3'UTR region with litter size and cashmere performance of Liaoning cashmere goats (LCG, n = 1140). The ESR C463T and T575G loci of LCG were genotyped.

Effects of rumen-protected tryptophan on performance, nutrient utilization and plasma tryptophan in cashmere goats [PDF]
Thirty-six Liaoning cashmere goat wethers (28.72 ± 0.59 kg) were used to determine the effects of rumen-protected tryptophan (RPT) on performance, nutrient utilization and plasma tryptophan (Trp) during the cashmere fast-growing period.

Multi-omics analysis of functional substances and expression verification in cashmere fineness
Background Numerous factors influence the growth and development of cashmere. Existing research on cashmere has predominantly emphasized a single omics level.

Expression analysis of proteasome maturation protein (POMP) gene in Liaoning Cashmere goat
Liaoning Cashmere goat is a precious genetic resource of China. To explore the relationship between POMP and cashmere growth, we analyzed the expression of POMP. POMP encodes a hudrophilic protein which is most closely related to bos. RT-PCR showed that POMP was expressed in skin, heart, liver, spleen, lung, and kidney tissues.

Differential expression ofMC1Rgene in Liaoning Cashmere goats with different coat colors
Melanocyte stimulating hormone receptor (MC1R) has been known as a regulator of eumelanin and phaeomelanin production in the melanocytes, and MC1R mutations causing coat color changes are known in many vertebrates; however, there are no research reports about the differentially expression of MC1R gene and its coding protein in Cashmere goats with ...

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the polymorphism of bile acid-CoA: amino acid N-acyltransferase (BAAT) and collagen type I alpha 1 chain (COL1A1) genes and the production performance of Liaoning Cashmere goat (LCG). The potential single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of LCG were detected by sequence comparison of BAAT and ...
