Photo-luminescence of the Z3 center in LiF:Mg
Physics Letters, 1966Abstract Photo-luminescence has been observed in X-irradiated magnesium-doped LiF. A measurement of the excitation spectrum for this emssion shows that it arises from the Z 3 center in this material.

Comparison of time effects, decision limit and residual signal in Harshaw LiF:Mg,Ti and LiF:Mg,Cu,P
Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2006The personal dosimetry service of the UK Health Protection Agency--formerly of the National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB)--is currently commissioning a body thermoluminescence dosemeter (TLD) system based on the use of Harshaw 8800 readers and two-element cards.

Clinical measurements using LiF dosemeters in radiotherapy are complicated by deviations from a linear dose response at typical doses per fraction (exceeding I Gy). In the present study, two TLD materials - LiF:Mg,Ti and LiF:Mg,Cu,P - were utilised to investigate the effect of time between irradiation and evaluation on dose linearity.

Thermoluminescence of nanocrystalline LiF:Mg, Cu, P
Journal of Luminescence, 2007Abstract Nanocrystalline LiF:Mg, Cu, P of rod shape (about 30–40 nm in diameter and 0.3–0.5 μm in length) has been prepared by the chemical co-precipitation method. Thermoluminescence (TL) and dosimetric characteristics of the nanocrystalline phosphor are studied and presented here. The formation of the material was confirmed by the X-ray diffraction

Thermoluminescence kinetic parameters of LiF:Mg,P
Optik, 2019Abstract Thermoluminescence (TL) kinetic analysis using T m - T s t o p , E − T s t o p , peak shape and glow curve deconvolution methods have been carried out on the glow curves of LiF:Mg,P phosphor. Heating rate effects on the TL glow curve characteristics are also investigated.

On the roles of dopants in LiF:Mg,Cu,Si thermoluminescent material
Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2013The 3D thermoluminescent spectra and glow curves of LiF:Mg,Cu,Si with various Mg, Cu and Si concentrations were measured. The shapes of the glow curves in LiF:Mg,Cu,Si, LiF:Mg,Cu and LiF:Mg,Si are similar and the glow curves have peaks at approximately the same temperatures, but with significantly different intensities.
