Effect of canard-chordwise blowing on the aerodynamic characteristics of blended wing body aircraft
To enhance the effect of the canard increasing lift and pitching moment coefficient of the blended-wing-body(BWB) aircraft, numerical simulation is adopted to analyze the effect of the canard-chordwise blowing on the low-speed aerodynamic characteristics

Direct numerical simulations of the flow around wings with spanwise waviness at a very low Reynolds number [PDF]
Inspired by the pectoral flippers of the humpback whale, the use of spanwise waviness in the leading edge has been considered in the literature as a possible way of improving the aerodynamic performance of wings.

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

A computer program for estimating the aerodynamic characteristics of NACA 16-series airfoils [PDF]
A computer program written in a table ""look-up'' format, is presented which provides a comprehensive data base on NACA 16-series airfoils. The geometry covered is limited to cambers for a design-lift coefficient from 0.0 to 0.7 and thickness ratios from

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.
