Background Halomicronema hongdechloris was the first cyanobacterium to be identified that produces chlorophyll (Chl) f. It contains Chl a and uses phycobiliproteins as its major light-harvesting components under white light conditions. However, under far-

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

The thylakoid membranes of vascular plants are differentiated into stacked granum and unstacked stroma regions. The formation of grana is triggered by the macrodomain formation of photosystem II and light-harvesting complex II (PSII-LHCII) and thus their

The Light-harvesting Chlorophyll a/b-Protein Complex of Chlamydomonas reinhardii [PDF]
The molecular organization of chlorophyll in Chlamydomonas reinhardii has been shown to be essentially similar to that in higher plants. Some 50% of the chlorophyll in Chlamydomonas reinhardii chloroplast membranes has been shown to be located in a chlorophyll a/b-protein complex.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Picosecond fluorescence of intact and dissolved PSI-LHCI crystals
Over the last years many crystal structures of photosynthetic pigment-protein complexes have been determined, and used extensively to model spectroscopic results obtained on the same proteins in solution. However, the crystal structure is not necessarily

In addition to investigations of the three-dimensional protein structure, information on the dynamical properties of proteins is indispensable for an understanding of protein function in general.

Light-harvesting complex II in monocomponent and mixed lipid-protein monolayers
Monomolecular layers at the air-water interface were formed directly with isolated largest light-harvesting pigment-protein complex of Photosystem II (LHC II) or out of egg yolk lecithin (EYL) liposomes containing incorporated LHC II. Pure protein monolayers showed a mean area of 1400 A2 per molecule at the air-water interface.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
