Does outdoor light contribute to ovarian cancer mortality? Insights from a case-control study
Unfavorable light environments, including artificial light at night (ALAN) and ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation, may be linked to ovarian cancer, but this association remains uncertain.

RETHINKING HOW WE LIGHT AT NIGHT: CUTTING LIGHT POLLUTION FOR MORE SUSTAINABLE NIGHTS
INTRODUCTION Nighttime lighting is an essential part of modern society, yet all too often inefficient practices are employed that lead to poor visibility, energy waste, and light pollution. The use of dark-sky friendly lighting fixtures and techniques can improve the lit environment to be less harsh and more uniform, reduce many of the problems

This study evaluates 3D‐printed recombinant spider silk hydrogel eADF4(C16)‐RGD in a rat AV loop model for tissue engineering. Constructs with T17b endothelial progenitor cells showed enhanced vascularization and biodegradation. Results highlight the importance of scaffold design and cellular integration in improving vascular density and overall ...

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...
