Multiscale Design and Simulation of CdSe/ZnS/MoTe2 Hybrid Photodetectors
Two-dimensional MoTe2 is applicable for near-infrared photodetection; however, low absorption in the visible range limits its performance. One way to overcome these limitations is by hybridizing with light-absorbing nanomaterials.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Light Field Display Point Rendering
Rendering for light field displays (LFDs) requires rendering of dozens or hundreds of views, which must then be combined into a single image on the display, making real-time LFD rendering extremely difficult. We introduce light field display point rendering (LFDPR), which meets these challenges by improving eye-based point rendering [Gavane and Watson ...

Holographic Micromirror Array with Diffuse Areas for Accurate Calibration of 3D Light-Field Display
Light field 3D displays require a precise alignment between the display source and the micromirror-array screen for error free 3D visualization. Hence, calibrating the system using an external camera becomes necessary, before displaying any 3D contents ...
