Demo: An On-line Supervisor for the Line Follower Robot

2022 IEEE International Conference on Smart Computing (SMARTCOMP), 2022
Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) are systems in which digital and physical entities cooperate. When CPSs execute safety-critical tasks, monitoring of their behavior is of main concern. The CPS should be moved to a safe state in case of malfunctions. This demo shows how an on-line supervisor can be developed for a Line Follower Robot, starting from a ...

Following The Line of Flight

2023
Dropping more dead words on the lane Producing some “boring text” again He wondered how to write differently How to escape the prescribed alley Take a venture into the splendid valley He wondered how to write differently Whispered a voice, follow “the lines of flight” Escape the trap, write to bring life to light He wondered how to write differently ...

Line bisection following hemispherectomy

Neuropsychologia, 2003
Two left- and right-hemispherectomized patients with contralateral hemianopia and 20 normal controls were administered a line bisection task. All hemispherectomized patients showed a strong bisection bias towards their blind visual field. This contralateral bias persisted when patients were forced to start scanning within their blind hemifield ...

Line thinning by line following

Pattern Recognition Letters, 1988
Abstract A line following algorithm is presented as a means to perform line thinning on elongated figures. The method is faster than conventional thinning algorithms and not as sensitive to noise. It can be useful for other applications also.

An Optimal Line Following Algorithm

IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, 1981
An algorithm is described for optimal following of the lines in digitized TV pictures. Initially, the picture is subjected to an edge detection operation resulting in short edge-line pieces (strokes). The bifurcation points of the lines in the picture are detected on the basis of variances in stroke angles.

Line following

CHI '11 Extended Abstracts on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2011
Encoding cursor position and directional information in synthesized audio feedback facilitates line following. This technique will aid interpretation and spatial understanding of irregularly shaped line features (e.g. rivers, state boundaries) making maps more accessible to users who are blind or visually impaired.

Congenital Psoriasis Following the Lines of Blaschko

Pediatrics International, 1996
Abstract: Congenital psoriasis without an underlying nevus following the lines of Blaschko is described In a 6‐year‐old girl. In addition to this special type of psoriasis, she suffered from atopic dermatitis. FOLLOWING THE COLOR LINE:

2017
During the Progressive Era, a number of cities and states outside the Deep South eventually barred mixed bouts. To be sure, white lawmakers wanted to protect white superiority. Each black victory in the ring against white opponents--and there were plenty by black men--stripped away at the notion of white male social and political authority, a ...
