Multiparameter Fractional Difference Linear Control Systems
The Riemann-Liouville-, Caputo-, and Grünwald-Letnikov-type fractional order difference operators are discussed and used to state and solve the controllability and observability problems of linear fractional order discrete-time control systems with ...

Optimal Finite-time Control of Positive Linear Discrete-time Systems [PDF]
This paper considers solving optimization problem for linear discrete time systems such that closed-loop discrete-time system is positive (i.e., all of its state variables have non-negative values) and also finite-time stable.

Chain Controllability of Linear Control Systems
For linear control systems with bounded control range, chain controllability properties are analyzed. It is shown that there exists a unique chain control set and that it equals the sum of the control set around the origin and the center Lyapunov space of the homogeneous part.

Stability and control of differential linear repetitive processes using an LMI setting [PDF]
This paper considers differential linear repetitive processes which are a distinct class of two-dimensional continuous-discrete linear systems of both physical and systems theoretic interest.

Compositional analysis for linear control systems [PDF]
The complexity of physical and engineering systems, both in terms of the governing physical phenomena and the number of subprocesses involved, is mirrored in ever more complex mathematical models. While the demand for precise models is indisputable, the analysis of such system models remains challenging.

Return condition for oscillating systems
This paper is devoted to the problem of null-controllability for the oscillating linear system $\dot{x}_{2i-1} = x_{2i}, \dot{x}_{2i} = - x_{2i-1} + u$, $i = \overline{1,n}$ with constraints on the control $u \in [c, 1]$ and $u \in \{c, 1\}$ in the case ...

The Use of Linear Control Laws with Non-Linear Systems
The problem of providing optimal regulation of non-linear systems has been one of long standing and has been solved usually by empirical techniques with, seemingly, no relief provided by the methods based on the newer theories of control.

Positive real control of two-dimensional systems: Roesser models and linear repetitive processes
This paper considers the problem of positive real control for two-dimensional (2-D) discrete systems described by the Roesser model and also discrete linear repetitive processes, which are another distinct sub-class of 2-D linear systems of both systems ...

Event-Triggered Consensus Control for Linear Multi-Agent Systems
For the consensus problem of multi-agent systems with linear dynamics, distributed event-triggered control strategies are put forward, which can decrease the frequency of information transmissions between agents and the number of control inputs of each ...
