COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

On the asymptotic behaviour of deterministic and stochastic volterra integro-differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This thesis examines a question of stability in stochastic and deterministic systems with memory, and involves studying the asymptotic properties of Volterra integro-differential equations.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Construction of Liapunov functionals for linear Volterra integrodifferential equations and stability of delay systems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2000
Inspired by the construction of a new Liapunov functional for linear Volterra integrodifferential equations, we prove some general stability theorems for functional differential equations with infinite delay and weaken the usual requirement for positive ...

Exact Solvability Conditions for the Non-Local Initial Value Problem for Systems of Linear Fractional Functional Differential Equations

open access: yes, 2022
The exact conditions sufficient for the unique solvability of the initial value problem for a system of linear fractional functional differential equations determined by isotone operators are established.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

On Nonseparated Three-Point Boundary Value Problems for Linear Functional Differential Equations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
For a system of linear functional differential equations, we consider a three-point problem with nonseparated boundary conditions determined by singular matrices.

Exponential Dichotomies, the Fredholm Alternative, and Transverse Homoclinic Orbits in Partial Functional Differential Equations

open access: yes, 2005
In this paper we investigate the transversality of homoclinic orbits in partial functional differential equations. We first discuss the exponential dichotomies for linear operator equations.
