Rational analogues of Bernstein–Szabados operators on several intervals
Bernstein polynomials play a very important role in approximation theory, probability theory, computer aided geometric design and many other areas. In 2017 J.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

On the approximation of functions by means of the operators of binomial type of Tiberiu Popoviciu
In 1931, Tiberiu Popoviciu has initiated a procedure for the construction of sequences of linear positive operators of approximation. By using the theory of polynomials of binomial type \((p_m)\) he has associated to a function \(f\in C[0,1]\) a linear ...

Applications of q-calculus in operator theory
The approximation of functions by linear positive operators is an important research topic in general mathematics and it also provides powerful tools to application areas such as computer-aided geometric design, numerical analysis, and solutions of ...

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Banach Spaces of Analytic Vector-valued Functions [PDF]
The main theme of the thesis is the study of continuity and approximation problems, involving matrix-valued and vector-valued Hardy spaces on the unit disc ID and its boundary T in the complex plane.

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Entanglement Hamiltonian and orthogonal polynomials
We study the entanglement Hamiltonian for free-fermion chains with a particular form of inhomogeneity. The hopping amplitudes and chemical potentials are chosen such that the single-particle eigenstates are related to discrete orthogonal polynomials of ...
