Linear differential equations of higher orders in a Banach space and the Vandermonde operator
Summary: We study the question of existence of a unique bounded solution to a Cauchy problem for a higher-order differential equation with bounded operator coefficients. The case under consideration is where the corresponding `algebraic' operator equation has separated pairwise commuting roots. Using the Vandermonde operator constructed from such roots,

Ideal points in multiobjective programming [PDF]
The main object of this paper is to give conditions under which a minimal solution to a problem of mathematical programming can be transformed into a minimum solution in the usual sense of the order relations, or in every case, conditions under which ...

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

In this paper we developed tripled fixed point theorems of ternary operator on partially ordered metric spaces. As an application we established existence of positive solutions for half-linear fractional order boundary value problem.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

A Full Space-Time Convergence Order Analysis of Operator Splittings for Linear Dissipative Evolution Equations [PDF]
The Douglas--Rachford and Peaceman--Rachford splitting methods are common choices for temporal discretizations of evolution equations. In this paper we combine these methods with spatial discretizations fulfilling some easily verifiable criteria.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Third-Order Tensors as Linear Operators on a Space of Matrices
AbstractA recently proposed tensor-tensor multiplication (M.E. Kilmer, C.D. Martin, L. Perrone, A Third-Order Generalization of the Matrix SVD as a Product of Third-Order Tensors, Tech. Rep. TR-2008-4, Tufts University, October 2008) opens up new avenues to understanding the action of n×n×n tensors on a space of n×n matrices.
