On the Kronecker problem and partially ordered sets with involution
Consideramos el clásico problema de Kronecker sobre dos operadores lineales entre dos espacios vectoriales de dimensión finita y presentamos una nueva solución corta usando una conexión entre la versión matricial del problema de Kronecker y el problema ...

Approximation on Partially Ordered Sets of Regular Grids [PDF]
In this paper we analyse the approximation of functions on partially ordered sequences of regular grids. We start with the formulation of minimal requirements for useful grid transfer operators.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Remarks on Duality in Graph Spaces of First‐Order Linear Operators [PDF]
AbstractGraph spaces provide a setting alternative to Sobolev spaces and BV spaces, which is suitable for the analysis of first‐order linear boundary value problems such as Friedrichs systems. Besides investigations of the well‐posedness of the continuous problem there is also an increasing interest in the error analysis of finite element methods ...

Ordered Linear Spaces and Extention of Positive Operators

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Characterizations of ordered operator spaces [PDF]
We demonstrate new abstract characterizations for unital and non-unital operator spaces. We characterize unital operator spaces in terms of the cone of accretive operators (operators whose real part is positive).

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified
