Rolling Shutter Camera Relative Pose: Generalized Epipolar Geometry [PDF]
The vast majority of modern consumer-grade cameras employ a rolling shutter mechanism. In dynamic geometric computer vision applications such as visual SLAM, the so-called rolling shutter effect therefore needs to be properly taken into account.

Mutations in the C9orf72 gene represent the most common genetic cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a fatal neurodegenerative disease. Using patient‐derived neurons and C. elegans models, we find that the nucleoporin Nup107 is dysregulated in C9orf72‐associated ALS. Conversely, reducing Nup107 levels mitigates disease‐related changes.

From Fractal Geometry to Statistical Fractal
The development from fractal geometry to fractal statistics was established in this paper. Interesting features such as self similarity, scale invariance, and the spacefilling property of objects (fractal dimension) of fractal geometry provided an ...

Factorization in Phase-Space Finite Geometry and Weak Mutually Unbiased Bases
A phase-space factorization of lines in finite geometry G(m) with variables in Zm and its correspondence in finite Hilbert space H(m) for m a non-prime was discussed. Using the method of Good [15], lines in G(m) were factorized as products of lines G(mi)

Conceptual Issues for Noncommutative Gravity on Algebras and Finite Sets
We discuss some of the issues to be addressed in arriving at a definitive noncommutative Riemannian geometry that generalises conventional geometry both to the quantum domain and to the discrete domain.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Free factorization algebras and homology of configuration spaces in algebraic geometry
We provide a construction of free factorization algebras in algebraic geometry and link factorization homology of a scheme with coefficients in a free factorization algebra to the homology of its (unordered) configuration spaces.

This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

Symmetries of partial differential equations
We establish a link between the study of completely integrable systems of partial differential equations and the study of generic submanifolds in C^n.
