MCC‐135 treatment significantly prolonged the seizure latency and alleviated hippocampal neuronal damage in KA‐induced epileptic mice. Furthermore, MCC‐135 reduced NCX1 levels, alleviated intracellular calcium overload, and downregulated glutamate levels in the epileptic mice.
