Norepinephrine Induces Sertoli Cell Ferroptosis via Receptors Desensitization Causing Stress‐Related Male Reproductive Dysfunction

Psychological stress activates the sympathetic–adrenal axis, elevating norepinephrine (NE) and suppressing reproductive hormones, thereby impairing male reproduction. Excess NE overactivates and desensitizes β‐adrenergic receptors (β‐ARs), triggering Sertoli cell ferroptosis and disrupting spermatogenesis.

A Hypoxia‐Responsive Single‐Atom Sonozyme for Targeted Sonocatalytic Therapy in Alleviating Atherosclerotic Plaque

A tetranitrogen‐coordinated single‐atom manganese catalyst (SMC) is fabricated with outstanding sonosensitization efficiency and multi‐enzyme‐like catalytic properties. To enable better targeting of M1 macrophages, hyaluronic acid (HA) is applied to modify the surface of SMC, yielding SMC‐HA nanozymes.

Targeting Methylglyoxal Metabolism to Enhance Ferroptosis Sensitivity in Tumor Therapy

This study reveals how blocking a detox enzyme called GLO1 increases the buildup of a toxic molecule, methylglyoxal (MGO), which triggers cancer cell death by ferroptosis.
