Biocompatible Lipopeptide-Based Antibacterial Hydrogel
Biomacromolecules, 2019A biocompatible hydrogel containing a hexapeptide as a key unit has been designed and fabricated. Our design construct comprises a β-sheet-rich short hexapeptide in the center with a hydrophobic long chain and hydrophilic triple lysine unit attached at the N- and C-terminals, respectively.

Biophysical studies of lipopeptideāmembrane interactions
Biopolymers, 1997There are a number of naturally occurring motifs for lipidation of peptides and proteins. In cases in which this involves adding a single hydrocarbon chain to the peptide, it is either a fatty acid or an isoprenyl group. Lipopeptides will partition between membrane and aqueous phases.

Glycopeptides, Lipopeptides, and Lipoglycopeptides
2011Due to increasing resistance in Gram-positive organisms, use of glycopeptides, lipopeptides, and lipoglycopeptides will steadily increase. These three classes of drugs are primarily renally eliminated; therefore, CYP 450 interactions are not of concern.

Cyclic Lipopeptide Antibiotics
2008Abstract Numerous natural products have been discovered, mainly from microorganisms, algae and plants, that often exhibit interesting and useful biological activities. Of these, cyclic lipopeptide antibiotics form the biggest group and provide several clinically important drugs.
