INVESTIGATION OF THE STABILITY OF THERMOSENSITIVE LIPOSOMES PREPARED BY DUAL CENTRIFUGATION
reservedIn the last decades, liposomes have been widely exploited as drug delivery systems that, if properly formulated, allow the encapsulation, protection and delivery of a drug substance at its site of action. Thermosensitive liposomes are promising

Probing the perturbation of lecithin bilayers by unmodified C60 fullerenes using experimental methods and computational simulations [PDF]
In this study, we aimed to use physicochemical and theoretical tools to understand fundamental problems of the interaction between lipid bilayers (Egg-PC liposomes) and unmodified C60 fullerenes.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

OBTAINING AND CHARACTERISTIC OF CURCUMIN LIPOSOMAL FORM [PDF]
Creation of liposomal forms of curcumin (diferuloilmetane) was investegated in the work. The methods of preparation and determination of the obtained liposomes sizes and percentage of curcumin in liposomes are given.
