CFD Investigation on Movement Features of Hydrogen Bubble under Microgravity Environment
A designed cryogenic upper stage adopted liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen (LH2/LO2) as an aerospace propellant. During a zero-gravity coast period in space, the wall heat leakage into the delivery tube could induce liquid propellant evaporation and two ...

A Thermodynamic Model for Cryogenic Liquid Hydrogen Fuel Tanks
Hydrogen is used as a fuel in various fields, such as aviation, space, and automobiles, due to its high specific energy. Hydrogen can be stored as a compressed gas at high pressure and as a liquid at cryogenic temperatures.

A description is given of a target in which liquid hydrogen was bombarded with x-rays from the Berkeley synchrotron. The liquid hydrogen, in a stainless steel flask, was surrounded by an evacuated jacket containing a heat shield maintained at the temperature of liquid nitrogen. The liquid level was indicated by a counterweighted float system.
