Enzymatic Determination of Lactate in Liquid Milk and Milk Powder
We have evaluated a new enzymatic method for determining the quantity of lactate contained in liquid milk or milk powder. In the conventional method, hydrazine is required to ensure quantitative enzymatic reaction. However, the new method using glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (GPT) can be conveniently performed at room temperature. The optical density at

Directional Confinement Governed Ion Transport for Efficient Actuation
Structural anisotropy provides an effective means to regulate ion transport in polymer electrolytes. Directionally aligned channels formed by freeze‐drying provide continuous pathways for ion migration, enhancing ion mobility and simultaneously improving the strain and blocking force of ionic actuators.

Amphiphilic chloroazobenzenes, bearing different amino acids as end groups alanine, phenylalanine, and valine, exhibit excellent photoisomerizations. Varying structures of three amino acid groups participate in supramolecular formations and therefore photoinduced morphological transformations via adjusting intermolecular interactions. These interaction

Anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade has revolutionized cancer immunotherapy, but is ineffective against endocrine‐treated (i.e., Tamoxifen), relapsed ER+ breast cancer (BC) patients. This study provides insight into the sub‐optimal response of ER+BCs to anti‐PD‐1/PD‐L1 blockade – highlighting the induction of STING and the CEACAM1/TIM3 axis after chronic ...

The role of TNFα in the process of renal allograft interstitial fibrosis is complex and multifaceted. As it can promote renal allograft interstitial fibrosis by inducing mitochondrial dysfunction and EndMT, and also mediating compensatory mitophagy through the NEDD4–HIF‐1α–BNIP3 pathway, which clears damaged mitochondria and inhibits EndMT, thereby ...
