The electrochemical lithiation/delithiation processes of InAs nanowires (NWs) are studied by in-situ transmission electron microscopy. Our results indicate that InAs NWs have a fast lithiation speed of 275 nm/s and a high lithium ion (Li-ion) diffusion ...

On the lithiation of oxazolinylaziridines
Tetrahedron Letters, 2003Abstract Lithiated N -sulfonyloxazolinylaziridines 6a and 7a , generated by deprotonation of the corresponding aziridines 6 and 7 with sec -BuLi/TMEDA at −98°C in THF, were found to be chemically and configurationally stable to be stereospecifically captured by electrophiles, while warming up to rt resulted in the formation of ...

Deprotonation of Lithiated Benzenes
The Journal of Organic Chemistry, 2004The deprotonation energies of all possible lithiobenzenes (C(6)Li(n)H(6-n), n = 0-5) were computed at B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p). Based on natural population analysis, the conjugate bases can be thought of as salts between a polyanionic phenyl core and associated lithium cations.

The lithiation of diethyl trichloromethylphosphonate below –100 °C leads to a stable α-lithiated derivative, but at temperatures of about –80 °C the lithiation is accompanied by spontaneous reactions leading to tetraethyl (chloromethylene)bisphosphonate as the exclusive product. Possible mechanisms of the reaction are discussed.

Electrochemical lithiation of Pb3O4
Journal of Power Sources, 1991Abstract Pb 3 O 4 has been investigated as a cathode material for voltage compatible, nonaqueous lithium cells and its good performance has been demonstrated. The mechanism of the process has been elucidated by undertaking X-ray and XPS analyses of the discharge products at significant points of the discharge curve.
