VAPOR-PRESSURES OF WATER PLUS LITHIUM-CHLORIDE PLUS ETHYLENE-GLYCOL AND WATER PLUS LITHIUM-CHLORIDE PLUS LITHIUM BROMIDE PLUS ETHYLENE-GLYCOL

open access: yes, 1995
The vapor pressures of water + lithium chloride + ethylene glycol and water + lithium chloride + lithium bromide + ethylene glycol (LiCl/LiBr mass ratio 1:1) (H2O/C(2)HsO(2) mole ratio 10:1) were measured in the temperature ranges from 306.65 to 394.90 K

Mechanochemical Upcycling of Polyvinylidene Fluoride: Lewis Acid Induced Generation of Sodium Aluminium Fluorides

open access: yesChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 12, 26 June 2026.
A solvent‐free mechanochemical process to upcycle PVDF waste into sodium aluminium fluorides, which are essential for aluminium production, was developed. By ball milling PVDF with AlCl3 and NaCl, the polymer degrades into chiolite and graphitic materials. Subsequent calcination then yields cryolite.

Solubilities and vapor pressures of the water plus lithium bromide plus ethanolamine system

open access: yes, 1996
Solubilities of lithium bromide in the water (1) + Lithium bromide (2) + ethanolamine (3) system at three different ratios (w(2)/w(3) = 4.5, 4, and 3.5) were measured by using the visual polythermal method in temperature ranges of(281.35 to 333.55) K ...

1,1‐and 1,2‐Diborylalkenes: Preparation and Synthetic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 12, 17 June 2026.
In this review, we highlight recent advances in the synthesis and reactivity of 1,1‐diborylalkenes and 1,2‐diborylalkenes, along with various transformations leading to C‐C, C‐heteroatom, and multicomponent products. By providing a comprehensive and practical resource, this review aims to assist researchers in exploring the synthetic utility of 1,1 and

Exergy analysis: An absorption refrigerator using lithium bromide and water as the working fluids

open access: yes
The thermodynamic processes in the absorption refrigeration system releases a large amount of heat to the environment. This heat is evolved at temperatures considerably above the ambient temperature, which results in a major irreversible loss in the ...

Redox‐Active Guanidines

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 12, 17 June 2026.
Redox‐active guanidines, comprising guanidino‐functionalized aromatics (GFAs) and redox‐active urea azines (RAAs), are electron donors and strong Lewis and Brønsted bases that are used in several applications. They act as redox‐active ligands in bistable coordination compounds and as reagents in dehydrogenative coupling reactions and proton‐coupled ...

Electrolyte Engineering in Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries: From Solvation Chemistry to Interface Stabilization

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 12, 17 June 2026.
This review summarizes recent progress in electrolyte engineering for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. It focuses on solvation chemistry regulation and interfacial stabilization. Strategies including solvent regulation, electrolyte salt, functional additives, and composite electrolytes are discussed. These approaches help suppress side reactions and improve

Phosphoryl Halogen and Hydrogen Bonding Controls the Solid‐State Structures of Aryl Halide‐Containing Phosphonates

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 17, 17 June 2026.
Intramolecular (RO)2PO→Halogen interaction versus intermolecular (RO)2PO···HOH hydrogen bonds. Although the O···I distance is shorter than the sum of the van der Waals radii of the atoms involved, there is no covalency involved in this interaction.

The electrolysis of lithium alkyls and ethyl magnesium bromide in lithium borohydride-diethyl ether solutions

open access: yes, 1955
At the present time there is a widespread interest in the chemistry of boron. Especially is this true in the field of organo-boron compounds, for boron has been found to possess the property of forming ring and chain compounds with itself or with certain
