Characterization of the metabolism of eupalinolide A and B by carboxylesterase and cytochrome P450 in human liver microsomes [PDF]
Eupalinolide A (EA; Z-configuration) and eupalinolide B (EB; E-configuration) are bioactive cis-trans isomers isolated from Eupatorii Lindleyani Herba that exert anti-inflammatory and antitumor effects.

In Vitro Metabolism of Donepezil in Liver Microsomes Using Non-Targeted Metabolomics [PDF]
Donepezil is a reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that is currently the most commonly prescribed drug for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. In general, donepezil is known as a safe and well-tolerated drug, and it was not associated with liver ...

Rat liver, liver homogenates, and microsome fractions separated therefrom were examined systematically in the electron microscope in sections of OsO4-fixed, methacrylate-embedded tissue and pellets. It was found that most microsomes are morphologically identical with the rough surfaced elements of the endoplasmic reticula of hepatic ...

The composition of rat liver microsomes. The structural proteins of rat liver microsomes [PDF]
1. The structural-protein component of microsomal membranes was isolated by three separate methods. Analysis by polyacrylamide-gel electrophoresis indicated that the microsomal structural component is made up of a heterogeneous group of proteins. These proteins were further characterized by their phospholipid-binding capacity.
