Simple adaptive control (SAC) is a control method that maintains control performance despite perturbations of a plant. However, there is a problem in that the vibratory output occurs in the transient response when SAC is applied to a vibration system ...

Robust preview tracking control for a class of uncertain discrete-time systems
The robust preview control problem of uncertain discrete-time systems satisfying matching conditions is considered. First, for the nominal system, we use the difference between a system state and its steady-state value, instead of the usual difference ...

LMI based design for the Acrobot walking [PDF]
Abstract This paper aims to further improve previously developed design for Acrobot walking based on partial exact feedback linearization of order 3. Namely, such an exact system transformation leads to an almost linear system where error dynamics along trajectory to be tracked is a 4-dimensional linear time-varying system having 3 time-varying ...

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

Transposable Element–Driven PIEZO Mutation Enhances Locust Flight in Plateau Hypoxia
Why transposable elements (TEs) persisted or expanded in genomes remains a mystery. Using integrated analysis of TE macro‐ and microevolution in locusts, our results showed that thousands of TE insertions promoted widespread adaptive variation. Subfamilies of candidate adaptive TEs amplified and reshaped species‐level genomic architecture.
