Loaded differential equations and linear inverse problems for elliptic equations

Complex Variables and Elliptic Equations, 2020
The article is devoted to the study of linear inverse problems of finding, alongside the solution, also the unknown right-hand side for second-order differential equations.

GONCHAROV'S TOTAL LOAD EQUATION

ISH Journal of Hydraulic Engineering, 2009
ABSTRACT An attempt is made in this study to verify Goncharov's sediment transport equation and to modify it using a large volume of data. In the present form the Goncharov's equation is found to be inaccurate. Keeping the functional relationship the same, the equation has been modified using a large volume of laboratory and field data.

Loaded Equations with Periodic Boundary Conditions

Differential Equations, 2001
To a polynomial with constant complex coefficients \(A(s)= \sum_{ |\alpha|\leq l}a_\alpha s^\alpha\), \(s^\alpha= s_1^{\alpha_1}\dots s_n^{ \alpha_n}\), \(|\alpha |=\alpha_1 +\cdots+ \alpha_n\), the differential operation \(A(-iD)\) is assigned \((D^\alpha= D_1^{\alpha_1} \dots D_n^{\alpha_n}\), \(D_j=\partial/ \partial x_j\), \(i^2=-1)\).

A New Metric for Network Load and Equation of State

2009 Fifth International Conference on Networking and Services, 2009
The performance of networks is generally estimated through characteristic indices such as delivery ratio, latency, delay, jitter and loss. Such indices depend on network parameters such as TTL, buffer size, time and load which are at times highly correlated.

Load balancing and Poisson equation in a graph

Concurrency: Practice and Experience, 1990
AbstractWe present a fully distributed dynamic load balancing algorithm for parallel MIMD architectures. The algorithm can be described as a system of identical parallel processes, each running on a processor of an arbitrary interconnected network of processors.

Interaction Equations for Biaxially Loaded Sections

Journal of the Structural Division, 1972
A simple method for obtaining the exact interaction relationships of doubly symmetric sections under combined axial force and biaxial bending moments is presented. Simple expressions for approximating the interaction curves of wide-flange sections are proposed, and the associated plastic deformations are calculated. For illustration, interaction curves
