It is shown that laser ablation pretreatment under oxygen‐free conditions enables copper–aluminium bonding at significantly lower deformation degrees and improved properties compared to mechanical brushing. Laser ablation further increases interface contact area and induces favourable residual stress states and microstructural compatibility ...

Ball Convergence of an Efficient Eighth Order Iterative Method Under Weak Conditions
The convergence order of numerous iterative methods is obtained using derivatives of a higher order, although these derivatives are not involved in the methods.

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

Local Convergence of an Optimal Eighth Order Method under Weak Conditions
We study the local convergence of an eighth order Newton-like method to approximate a locally-unique solution of a nonlinear equation. Earlier studies, such as Chen et al. (2015) show convergence under hypotheses on the seventh derivative or even higher,

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

In this paper, we investigate the local convergence of Schröder’s method for finding zeros of analytic functions with unknown multiplicity. Thus, we obtain a convergence theorem that provides exact domains of initial points together with error estimates ...

Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Local Convergence of Jarratt-Type Methods with Less Computation of Inversion Under Weak Conditions
We present a local convergence analysis for Jarratt-type methods in order to approximate a solution of a nonlinear equation in a Banach space setting. Earlier studies cannot be used to solve equations using such methods.

Locally solid convergence structures
While there is a well developed theory of locally solid topologies, many important convergences in vector lattice theory are not topological. Yet they share many properties with locally solid topologies. Building upon the theory of convergence structures, we develop a theory of locally solid convergences, which generalize locally solid topologies but ...
