Resonant Scattering and Classical Localization

After the work of John, Sompolinsky, and Stephen(1), the study of localization in classical systems has received renewed interest. Most calculations have been carried out using a Gaussian noise representation for the disorder. Kirkpatrick(2) was the first to study localization in the presence of finite-size inhomogeneities.
