Improving modularity score of community detection using memetic algorithms
With the growth of online networks, understanding the intricate structure of communities has become vital. Traditional community detection algorithms, while effective to an extent, often fall short in complex systems.

No-Wait Job Shop Scheduling Using a Population-Based Iterated Greedy Algorithm
When no-wait constraint holds in job shops, a job has to be processed with no waiting time from the first to the last operation, and the start time of a job is greatly restricted. Using key elements of the iterated greedy algorithm, this paper proposes a

Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Evolutionary Multi-objective Optimization for Multi-depot Vehicle Routing in Logistics
Delivering goods in an efficient and cost-effective way is always a challenging problem in logistics. In this paper, the multi-depot vehicle routing is focused. To cope with the conflicting requirements, an advanced multi-objective evolutionary algorithm
