Development of a Non-Destructive Tool Based on E-Eye and Agro-Morphological Descriptors for the Characterization and Classification of Different Brassicaceae Landraces

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
In recent years, Brassicaceae have piqued the interest of researchers due to their extremely rich chemical composition, particularly the abundance of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, as well as because of their antimutagenic and potential ...

ON INTEGRAL LOCAL SHIMURA VARIETIES

open access: yesJournal of the Institute of Mathematics of Jussieu
Abstract We give a construction of integral local Shimura varieties which are formal schemes that generalise the well-known integral models of the Drinfeld p -adic upper half spaces. The construction applies to all classical groups, at

Locally recoverable J-affine variety codes [PDF]

open access: yesFinite Fields and Their Applications, 2020
A locally recoverable (LRC) code is a code over a finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$ such that any erased coordinate of a codeword can be recovered from a small number of other coordinates in that codeword. We construct LRC codes correcting more than one erasure, which are subfield-subcodes of some $J$-affine variety codes.

Phenotypic changes in different spinach varieties grown and selected under organic conditions

open access: yes, 2011
Organic and low-input agriculture needs flexible varieties that can buffer environmental stress and adapt to the needs of farmers. We implemented an experiment to investigate the evolutionary capacities of a sample of spinach (Spinacia oleracea L ...

Heterogeneity in the Global Practice of Central Nervous System Staging in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

One the P-Adic Local Invariant Cycle Theorem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The aim of this paper is to consider the $p$-adic local invariant cycle theorem in the mixed characteristic case. In the first part of the paper, via case-by-case discussion, we construct the $p$-adic specialization map, and then write out the ...

Evaluation and Structuring of Agrodiversity in Oases Agroecosystems of Southern Morocco

open access: yesAgriculture, 2023
Oases play a crucial role in human societies and the conservation of biodiversity, especially in harsh environments like arid zones. They serve as sanctuaries for agrodiversity, preserving diverse agricultural resources under challenging climatic ...

Localization of spherical varieties [PDF]

open access: yesAlgebra & Number Theory, 2014
We prove some fundamental structural results for spherical varieties in arbitrary characteristic. In particular, we study Luna's two types of localization and use it to analyze spherical roots, colors and their interrelation. At the end, we propose a preliminary definition of a p-spherical system.

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.
