Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Generating a heterosexual bipartite network embedded in social network
We describe an approach to generate a heterosexual network with a prescribed joint-degree distribution embedded in a prescribed large-scale social contact network.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

GROUPING METHOD FOR NEIGHBOR OBJECTS OF MOVING OBJECT USING HASH INDEX [PDF]
A location-based social network (LBSNS) is a social network service (SNS) that is based on a user’s location, unlike SNS, and facilitates additional activities like neighbour-user search and group formation in real time.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Users Trajectory Similarity Algorithmic Research on Location-based Social Network
:Aimed at analyzing users trajectory similarity on LBSN, the check-in points were hierarchical clustered, and the similarity of users’ track on each layer was calculated, then the geospatial similarity of the users’ behaviors was obtained, the Adaptive ...

Privacy Threats and Protection Recommendations for the Use of Geosocial Network Data in Research
Inference attacks and protection measures are two sides of the same coin. Although the former aims to reveal information while the latter aims to hide it, they both increase awareness regarding the risks and threats from social media apps.

Place-Type Detection in Location-Based Social Networks
Determining the type of places in location-based social networks will contribute to the success of various downstream tasks such as POI recommendation, location search, automatic place name database creation, and data cleaning. In this paper, we propose a multi-objective ensemble learning framework that (i) allows the accurate tagging of places into ...
