Logarithmic Spirals and Computer Art
1989Interesting geometric patterns are obtained by mapping a rectangular region in one coordinate system onto an annular region in another coordinate system. The mapping involves logarithmic spirals and several examples are presented which involve interlocking spirals, cubes and dragon patterns.

Paleobiology, 1998Abstract To a first approximation, the logarithmic spiral is a close fit to the biconvex lateral outline of three terebratellid genera from Australasia. Investigation of spiral parameters confirms the value of the biconvex morphospace of McGhee (1980), but not the method for estimating the spiral itself.
