Cancer therapy‐induced ototoxicity: Current challenges and emerging management strategies
This review comprehensively examines the key risk factors for cancer therapy‐induced ototoxicity, including cumulative drug dose, genetic susceptibility, and combined treatment regimens. It highlights current challenges in ototoxicity monitoring, such as insufficient timeliness and limited clinical adoption, and advocates for standardized auditory ...

Local economic resilience and economic specialization in Greece during the crisis
Abstract This paper scrutinizes the issue of economic resilience, aiming to detect the existence of a systematic link with economic specialization. To this end, the paper conducts an empirical analysis at the local (i.e., municipal) level of Greece during the economic crisis period (2009–2015), providing cartographic visualizations and spatial ...

Natural Aging of Biomaterials in Ambient and Physiological Environments
Biomaterials used in biomedical applications can change their physical properties over time, even under ambient and physiological conditions. This review highlights key studies on the natural aging of materials ranging from soft hydrogels to metals and ceramics, emphasizing how time‐dependent changes influence function and performance.

Spiral Lambert's problem with generalized logarithmic spirals
Lambert?s problem subject to a continuous acceleration is solved using the family of generalized logarithmic spirals. Thanks to the existence of two first integrals related to the energy and angular momentum surprising analogies with the Keplerian case are found. A minimum-energy spiral transfer exists.

Logarithmic Spirals and Right-angled Triangles
This article presents some recurrent functions which we can use to make Right-angledTriangles and through their special arrangement we can obtain logarithmic spirals, and their discrete form. The recurrent functions are obtained through recurrencerelations which can be expressed as a linear combination of fibonacci numbers.

We introduce cell‐penetrating peptides (CPPs) with polyfluoroalkyl‐tags that drastically enhance intracellular protein delivery by promoting membrane retention. Via the combination of live‐cell imaging, biophysical analysis, and computational simulations, we reveal how fluorous CPPs interact with membranes via monomeric interactions and dynamic tag ...

Abstract An exquisitely preserved, isolated partial petrosal with associated fragmentary stapes is described from the Vastan Lignite Mine (Gujarat, India), dated to the early Eocene (~54.5 Ma). Several anatomical traits (e.g., large petrosal plate; posterolateral entry of the internal carotid artery to the tympanic cavity; bony tubes surrounding the ...

The Elliptic Logarithmic Spiral—a New Curve [PDF]
IF, in an elastic system with one degree of freedom, and friction proportional to the velocity, the relation of the “free” force to the displacement be considered, an interesting curve results.
