Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

A Forecasting Model Based on High-Order Fluctuation Trends and Information Entropy
Most existing high-order prediction models abstract logical rules that are based on historical discrete states without considering historical inconsistency and fluctuation trends. In fact, these two characteristics are important for describing historical

"It from bit" and the quantum probability rule [PDF]
I argue that, on the subjective Bayesian interpretation of probability, "it from bit" requires a generalization of probability theory. This does not get us all the way to the quantum probability rule because an extra constraint, known as noncontextuality,

Maxwell Theory on a Compact Manifold as a Topologically Ordered System
We study novel type of contributions to the entropy of the Maxwell system defined on a compact manifold such as torus. These new terms are not related to the physical propagating photons. Rather, these novel contributions emerge as a result of tunnelling

Combining high‐order cluster‐correlation expansion with experiment, it is revealed that P1‐driven NV decoherence under dynamical decoupling deviates from semi‐classical scaling laws. The coherence‐time exponent depends on pulse number and bath conditions, demonstrating the necessity of a full quantum bath description.

Causality - Complexity - Consistency: Can Space-Time Be Based on Logic and Computation?
The difficulty of explaining non-local correlations in a fixed causal structure sheds new light on the old debate on whether space and time are to be seen as fundamental. Refraining from assuming space-time as given a priori has a number of consequences.

We propose an entropy based classification of propositional calculi. Our method can be applied to finite?valued propositional logics and then, extended asymptotically to infinite?valued logics. In this paper we consider a classification depending on the number of truth values of a logic and not on the number of its designated values.

The Role of Ionic Liquids at the Biological Interfaces in Bioelectronics
Ionic liquids (ILs) are highlighted as key artificial ionic materials that bridge biological ion‐based signaling and electronic devices. By understanding their composition, structure, function relationships, and mechanisms, ILs can advance from high performance electrolyte to core materials enabling integrated, multifunctional bioelectronics for ...

A scientific rationale for consciousness
Consciousness is a concept that can be easily experimented but not easily defined. We show that the same observation applies to information, entropy and even energy.

Logic‐Gated HSV‐TK/GCV Suicide Gene Circuit for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer
The BRAS comprises two modular genetic components driven by distinct tumor‐specific promoters and a failsafe layer with the NOT gate. This multi‐input logic gate circuit enables precise, specific expression of HSV‐TK in breast cancer cells with hardly expression in normal cell and effectively inhibits tumor growth in a triple‐negative breast cancer ...
