Epileptic drop attacks: More than just atonic seizures

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract “Drop attacks” are not officially defined by the International League Against Epilepsy. Seizures are characterized by a sudden loss of control over the trunk and posture, leading to falls and injuries, and resolving within a few seconds. Accurately diagnosing the type of seizure is usually difficult due to limitations in clinical documentation

Navigating the Digital World: Pre‐Service Teachers' Processes and Perspectives on Evaluating Online Information

open access: yesFuture in Educational Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This descriptive case study examined how undergraduate pre‐service teachers (PSTs) enrolled in a digital literacies course evaluated online information as part of a module digital project. PSTs were tasked with assessing peer‐selected online texts using multiple strategies in an unrestricted web environment.

Core‐shell structure induced surface reconstruction of PbS quantum dots toward high‐detectivity short‐wave infrared photodetectors

open access: yesInfoScience, EarlyView.
We present a core‐shell structure‐induced surface reconstruction treatment for PbS quantum dots (QDs). Highly detective photodetectors and imagers in the short‐wave infrared region are demonstrated based on the surface‐reconstructed QDs with reduced dark current density and improved QD stacking configuration, as shown by grazing‐incidence small‐angle X‐

Ultrasoft eutectogel electrodes for non‐invasive face nerve monitoring

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
A eutectogel with simultaneous ultra‐low modulus, conductivity, environmental stability, and biocompatibility was prepared through random copolymerization of acrylic acid and N‐(3‐sulfopropyl)‐N‐(methacryloxyethyl)‐N,N‐dimethylammonium betaine in a deep eutectic solvent.
