Classical Swine Fever Outbreak after Modified Live LOM Strain Vaccination in Naive Pigs, South Korea

open access: yesEmerging Infectious Diseases, 2018
We report classical swine fever outbreaks occurring in naive pig herds on Jeju Island, South Korea, after the introduction of the LOM vaccine strain. Two isolates from sick pigs had >99% identity with the vaccine stain.

The miR171a‐TaSCL6‐1 Module Acts Downstream of miR164‐Targeted TaNAC21/22 to Regulate Leaf Rust Resistance in Wheat

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Wheat leaf rust, caused by Puccinia triticina, poses a significant threat to global wheat production. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are critical regulators of plant growth, development and stress responses; however, their role in wheat resistance to leaf rust remains poorly understood.

Cellular microenvironment of erythropoietin‐producing cells in hypoxic and injured mouse kidneys

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract The main sources of circulating erythropoietin (Epo) in the adult are kidney Norn cells, a recently identified interstitial cell type capable of becoming renal Epo‐producing (REP) cells following a local decrease in tissue oxygenation. REP cells are restricted to small clusters in the corticomedullary border region, suggesting that their ...

A Cross‐Sectional Study Shows Emergence of the Delta, 19B, 20A, 20B, 19A, and Omicron Variants of SARS‐CoV‐2 in Burkina Faso: A Conundrum Within a Conundrum

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Context and Objective SARS‐CoV‐2 is an RNA virus that emerged in Wuhan, China. Adaptive mutations in its genome can influence the virus's pathogenicity, enhance its ability to evade the host immune system, and complicate vaccine development. This study aimed to identify the circulating SARS‐CoV‐2 variants in Burkina Faso and trace their origin.

Perovskite Electrocatalysts for Oxygen Evolution in Alkaline Media: From Fundamentals to Recent Developments

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
Perovskite oxides offer exceptional structural flexibility, enabling precise tuning of composition and electronic structure. This review connects these design parameters to both adsorbate‐ and lattice‐oxygen‐mediated OER pathways, highlighting the promise of rationally engineered perovskites as high‐performance electrocatalysts for alkaline water ...

LAMINATED OBJECT MANUFACTURING-LOM

open access: yesFiabilitate şi Durabilitate, 2011
The fabrication of stratified pieces (LOM) is a fabrication method where a 3D model is constructed by adding, pasting and cutting the sections in a cycle that repeated starting with the first layer at the bottom of the piece and ending by the last layer at the top of the piece.
