Evolution of the longitudinal structure function at small x
We derive an approximation approach to evolution of the longitudinal structure function, by using a Laplace-transform method. We solve the master equation and derive the longitudinal structure function as a function of the initial condition $F_{L}(x,Q^{2}

Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

Functional linear regression analysis for longitudinal data
We propose nonparametric methods for functional linear regression which are designed for sparse longitudinal data, where both the predictor and response are functions of a covariate such as time.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

The cancer problem is increasing globally with projections up to the year 2050 showing unfavourable outcomes in terms of incidence and cancer‐related deaths. The main challenges are prevention, improved therapeutics resulting in increased cure rates and enhanced health‐related quality of life.

Modelling longitudinal cognitive test data with ceiling effects and left skewness
Cognitive tests such as the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) may result in data with discrete and skewed distributions that necessitate proper statistical models for valid inference.

The Need for Household Panel Surveys in Times of Crisis: The Case of SOEP-CoV
The spread of the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, poses major challenges for individuals and societies at large. The question now is how individuals and society are dealing with these challenges, and what health, psychological, social, and economic

Nonperturbative partonic quasidistributions of the pion from chiral quark models
We evaluate nonperturbatively the quark quasidistribution amplitude and the valence quark quasidistribution function of the pion in the framework of chiral quark models, namely the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model and the Spectral Quark Model.
