Mode analysis of longitudinal multi mode SAW resonator filter
2001 IEEE Ultrasonics Symposium. Proceedings. An International Symposium (Cat. No.01CH37263), 2002This paper describes the mode analysis for a longitudinal multi mode SAW resonator filter having 5 IDTs between the grating reflectors. The mode analysis is carried out at several conditions and frequencies, focusing on trap response. At the trap canceling condition, two resonant modes coincide in frequency and degenerate.

The bar is suspended such that it is free to expand and contract longitudinally in response to the application of an electric field across its thickness.

Longitudinal plasmon modes of gold nanorod
2012 12th IEEE International Conference on Nanotechnology (IEEE-NANO), 2012The longitudinal plasmon modes of an elongated gold nanorod (GNR) excited by a pair of dipoles (bi-dipole) are studied, where these dipoles are located at the two ends of GNR respectively. The dipole moments are assumed to be aligned along the long axis of GNR.

Single Longitudinal Mode Green Diode Laser
Frontiers in Optics 2016, 2016We observed that a green diode laser shows single longitudinal mode output at low operation current, and its frequency can be tuned by adjusting the operation temperature and operational current. The behavior of laser modes with operational current was also investaigated.

Longitudinal mode control in laser diodes
Measurement Science and Technology, 1992A method is described for selecting the longitudinal mode of a diode laser, using either a thin plate or graded index (GRIN) rod mounted approximately=50 mu m from the diode. Although this method has already been reported in a number of experiment, a detailed study has received little attention in the literature to date.

Frequency and Polarization Transformer: Longitudinal Modes
International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 2004A frequency transformer that converts an elliptically polarized standing wave into frequency-shifted circularly polarized standing waves is considered. The transformer is a one-dimensional cavity in which a magnetoplasma, that supports ‘longitudinal modes’, is created.

Longitudinal mode width in excimer lasers
AIP Conference Proceedings, 1986The time-averaged width of individual longitudinal modes of a multimode XeCl discharge laser oscillator was measured using time-delayed interferometry, a technique related to Fourier-transform spectroscopy. The beam from the laser was divided by the beam splitter of a Michelson interferometer.

High-efficiency single-longitudinal-mode laser
