Improved Algorithms for a Lot-Sizing Problem with Inventory Bounds and Backlogging [PDF]
This paper considers a dynamic lot-sizing problem with storage capacity limitation in which backlogging is allowed. For general concave production and inventory costs, we present an O(T2) dynamic programming algorithm where T is the length of the ...

Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

A dynamic lot-sizing model with demand time windows [PDF]
One of the basic assumptions of the classical dynamic lot-sizing model is that the aggregate demand of a given period must be satisfied in that period.

Screening for lung cancer: A systematic review of overdiagnosis and its implications
Low‐dose computed tomography (CT) screening for lung cancer may increase overdiagnosis compared to no screening, though the risk is likely low versus chest X‐ray. Our review of 8 trials (84 660 participants) shows added costs. Further research with strict adherence to modern nodule management strategies may help determine the extent to which ...

Lagrange Relaxation for the Capacitated Multi-Item Lot-Sizing Problem
The capacitated multi-item lot-sizing problem, referred to as the CLSP, is to determine the lot sizes of products in each period in a given planning horizon of finite periods, meeting the product demands and resource limits in each period, and to ...

Lot-sizing for inventory systems with product recovery [PDF]
We study inventory systems with product recovery. Recovered itemsare as-good-as-new and satisfy the same demands as new items. Thedemand rate and return fraction are deterministic.

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Improved Lower Bounds For The Capacitated Lot Sizing Problem With Set Up Times [PDF]
We present new lower bounds for the Capacitated Lot Sizing Problem with Set Up Times. We improve the lower bound obtained by the textbook Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition where the capacity constraints are the linking constraints.

Modeling Industrial Lot Sizing Problems: A Review [PDF]
In this paper we give an overview of recent developments in the field of modeling single-level dynamic lot sizing problems. The focus of this paper is on the modeling various industrial extensions and not on the solution approaches.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.
